ArchitectureBoston Magazine

Magazine / Editorial Design

Members of the Boston Society of Architects often cite AB magazine as the highlight of their BSA membership. For over ten years, Stoltze has collaborated with the editorial team to bring this quarterly publication to life, from curating visual content to overseeing the printing process. More than a glossy showcase, each issue explores a critical theme projected through the lens of the built environment. We engage in deep research to find artists whose visuals will enhance the writing. Whether exploring bold feature openers, creating our own illustrations, experimenting with the underlying grid, or finding the perfect guest typeface to reflect the theme, this project is always an opportunity to give smart form to smart content. We attend to the most minute detail—an effort which does not go unnoticed by this astute readership.
