Say bonjour to the French Library’s new brand identity

The French Library in Boston is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide French language instruction and cultural programs to inspire a diverse community of children, teens, and adults to explore, understand, and embrace today’s interconnected world.

Coinciding with the French Library’s recent renovation of their Back Bay townhouse, Stoltze Design was brought on to redesign their brand identity and communications. This system includes a new logotype and updated artwork of their Marlborough Street entryway, along with bespoke patterns, an extended color palette, and a family of typefaces. Our design approach was intended to reflect the historical significance of the organization and their beautiful facilities, while projecting a friendly and welcoming environment.
