Berklee College of Music Logos and Graphic Standards Guides
Berklee College of Music invited our team to develop naming, custom identities, and website designs for two companion initiatives. The City Music Network and its PULSE Music Method programs are groundbreaking executions in pedagogy. Bringing music education to regions where school music programs have been eliminated, Berklee has enabled virtual instruction and access to resources via web.
The City Music logo reflects the vibrancy of its youth audience and overlapping spray-painted spots imply both connectedness and the impromptu artistry of graffiti. The PULSE Music Method logo circles recall drumsets and relate to the circles in the City Music Program and their color and placement imply energy and movement. These highly interactive sites were built using Flash and feature extensive use of sound, imagery, and video within.
