The Davis Museum Exhibits

Identity / Branding / Exhibit Graphics / Experiential

In the summer of 2016, the Davis Museum at Wellesley College finalized the reinstallation of its permanent collection. The number of works on view nearly doubled to 620, some of which were shown for the first time. Stoltze championed the effort by expanding the museum’s identity system and creating everything from banners to wall vinyls, wayfinding, and wallpaper. We systemized the design of object labels (and learned the difference between tombstones and chats). Nearly three years in the making, the galleries reopened with a night of celebration in the newly appointed Rafael Moneo building. This confirmed our belief that all projects should end in champagne.
