The MIT Department of Physics is a global leader in physics education and research, with a history that includes dozens of Nobel Laureates, and continually produces discoveries that bring humanity to new levels of understanding of the world around us, from the tiniest quarks to the edges of the universe. With this annual print publication, the Physics Department showcases to its alumni, donors, funding agencies and internal constituents, the excitement of the research and breadth of accomplishments of its community members, from faculty to postdocs, students to friends and supporters.
